TAMS Biomedical Engineering
The mission of the TAMS Biomedical Engineering is to create a community of students passionate about biomedical engineering by fostering education, research, and outreach. By hosting fun workshops and events, we want to grow an interest in the field of biomedical engineering. We hope to help students interact with UNT professors from the BME department and subsequently discover labs to conduct research in. Finally, we look forward to hosting regular volunteer opportunities at local elementary and middle schools to teach biology, computer-aided design, and other engineering concepts.

Chloe Tang
Hi! My name is Chloe and I am a committee head for the new TMS Biomedical Engineering Committee. I’m on the general math/science track, but I hope to pursue a major in mechanical engineering with applications to the biomedical field. I’m passionate about engineering, as I’m also the social coordinator for the TAMS Robotics Club.
I trained in classical ballet and contemporary dance, and I also love music (Fiona Apple, Elliott Smith, King Krule (ebenezer stole this), and Sun Kil Moon). I can’t wait to work with everyone this year!
