Nightingale
Welcome to the TAMS chapter of Nightingale, a national-level youth-led organization interested in implementing health policy changes by educating and empowering youth to take decisive political actions. Our work involves national fundraisers, email writing campaigns to public officials, and teaching seminars to inform youth around America.
MEET THE TEAM
Elliott Slaughter
Hi, I’m Elliott Slaughter, a senior at TAMS with a passion for chemical engineering, writing, and advocacy. Along with being the founder/president of the TAMS chapter, I am president of JETS and an executive board member and content creator for Nightingale Advocacy.
When I’m not studying or toiling away in my research lab, you can find me compiling TikTok sounds for my next health policy reel, mapping out plots for sci-fi stories, and playing wordle.
Lucille Tagnon
Hello! My name is Lucille Tagnon and I am one of your committee heads for Nightingale this year. I come from Parish Episcopal School in Dallas. I hope to help the TAMS chapter work hand in hand with our national assocation to provide help to a greater cause in America.
Other than Nightingale, I am the Outreach Coordinator for Ambassadors. I was also involved in the creation of the 2024 edition of the Stethoscope journal!
